Tim Jenks was Pete Whitehouse's guest on Inside Tracks the 4th June 2017.
Tim is a local blues musician, a committed Christian and a man who's knowledge of UK TV reception issues is second to none. He is the senior executive at the Confederation of Aerial Industries. After initially training as a teacher, Tim abandoned that career to pursue his passion for music. He toured extensively with a rock band, including two years on the road playing in colleges and schools across the USA.
Then, following a brief return to teaching, Tim became a self employed aerial installer and by the 1980's he'd become an active member of the CAI helping to raise the standards of the constantly changing television reception business.
Since 1994, Tim has been a full-time member of staff at that organisation and in recent years has often been heard on local radio providing advice of all matters related to TV installation and reception. Nowadays, Tim nears retirement with more time for music, both teaching the guitar and playing at his monthly 'Room for the Blues' sessions at the The Star Inn in Wednesfield.
