Tim first met Eddie back in the late 1960s. A talented guitarist and songwriter, Eddie has written some of the finest songs Tim has ever played. They played together with John Martin and Trevor Howard in the coffee bar at St. Judes in a band called 'Life'. The group was very popular within the Christian community and it gave Tim and his cohorts a good grounding in the 'craft' of performing in fron of an audience. With so many gigs available to play in the '70's, Tim abandoned a teaching career to form 'Aaron' with Stuart Penny, Eddie Phillips, Trevor Howard and Colin Burke; assisted by sound engineer Bernard McNally. A pro-unit that would complete three years on the road - one year touring England's pubs - and two years spent touring schools and colleges in the USA. Eddie and Tim still team up occasionally to revisit the twin lead guitar approach they worked throughout their touring days in ‘Aaron’. Eddie is still writing and performing his own songs today. Performing music from the 50s to the present day - from the Everleys to the Black Eyed Peas - they aim to make any and every occasion 'explode with good time energy'. Their repertoire is listed on their website and if you check out the Summerhouse Facebook Group Page it will tell you when you can next see them perform!
