With so many gigs available to play in the '70's, Tim abandoned his teaching career to form 'Aaron' with Stuart Penny, Eddie Phillips, Trevor Howard and Colin Burke; assisted by sound engineer Bernard McNally. Aaron was a pro-unit that would complete three years on the road - one year touring England's pubs - and two years spent touring schools and colleges in the USA. Stuart Penny left the line-up on the Mid-West stretch of the 76-77 tour. The band carried on as a 4-piece for a while, but then added keyboards maestro - Ken Hampton from Greenville, Illinois to the line-up. He remained with Aaron for the rest of their time in the States. |
